Just a delight to read for anyone who grew up in North America in the 50's/60's. A marvelous story of how a typical immigrant family will do whatever is required to make a new life in a new land. If you want to understand why Canada and other countries welcome immigrants, then this book is for you.

I really enjoyed your book, especially the voice of the protagonist and narrator. Your choice of first person to tell your tale lets the reader engage directly and I found that to be a lot of fun. We all know the songs you use to propel this guy through his adventures, a kind of unique way to keep us involved.
